Car imagery that passes OEM review.
Launch stills, range shots, social and film of the real car, made from the CAD or the photos the OEM already approved. Every frame is checked against that source, down to the badge.
Used in production on Volkswagen campaigns
Why cars are the hardest product for AI
A car campaign is reviewed by design, legal and every market. General AI image generators guess the product, so they fail exactly where the reviewers look.
Every detail is approved
Badges, light signatures, wheels, trims and colours are signed off. An invented badge stops the campaign.
Every variant counts
Trims, colours, wheels and markets turn one campaign into hundreds of assets, and each must match its own car.
The data is confidential
Unreleased models and CAD data fall under the security rules OEMs set for every supplier and every tool.
From the approved car to every format
Bring the approved source
CAD as STEP, JT or CATPart, a 3D model, or reference photos. Nobody rebuilds the car.
Generate the scene around it
Image and video models create the location, the light and the motion. The car comes from the source.
Check every frame
Auto Heal compares each frame with the source, fixes what differs and lists every fix in a defect report for review.
Deliver every format
16:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16, print files up to 8K, and film from the same shots, delivered with roles and an expiry date.
What car teams make with it
-
Launch stills
Exterior heroes, lifestyle frames and interior details for the model page, in days.
-
Range shots
Your artist composes the line-up on one plate; every car renders from its own approved CAD.
-
Social campaigns
Feed, story and reel formats from the same approved car, labelled as AI where required.
-
Print up to 8K
A 4K render goes to 8K for print, with badges and lettering restored from CAD close-ups or photos.
-
Film
Shots and the cut from the stills you already checked; one camera setting drives every video model.
-
Without CAD
When there is no CAD, approved reference photos are the source.

For agencies and studios →Questions from car teams
Can SolidMeta make AI car photos from CAD?
Yes. It starts from CAD as STEP, STP, IGES, CATPart or JT, from 3D models as GLB, FBX, OBJ or USD, or from approved reference photos. The car in every frame comes from that source.
Do badges, wheels and lights stay correct?
Auto Heal compares every frame with the source and fixes what differs, and the defect report lists each fix. Nothing is final until someone on your team keeps it.
What if we have no CAD?
Approved reference photos work as the source. Volkswagen's Golf 50 Years project was made from reference photos alone.
Is it secure enough for unreleased models?
Enterprise runs on-prem, air-gapped or in a private cloud, and your data is never used to train AI.
Is AI content labelled?
Yes. Every image and video carries a machine-readable AI marker, and visible EU AI labels can be made mandatory for every workspace.
How does the cost compare with CGI?
By our estimate, up to 80% lower than traditional CG production for a typical hero still, because CAD prep, look development, light matching and compositing fall away. Plans start at $25 a month; Enterprise is quoted.
Can our agency produce in SolidMeta for an OEM?
Yes. Agencies keep one workspace per client, with its own projects, boards and deliveries.
